Snorkeling in the Croton River

     Snorkeling the river is very possible. Though you really do not see many people doing it. Snorkeling is best early in the year because as the river heats up the weeds will start to grow fast making the visibility low. It is possible to see quite a variety of fish and is well worth the effort of taking the time to see the underwater view of the water.
